今年的夏天和往常有些不同。以前的夏天都是光秃秃的树木。可是今年却来了许多的知了。
我和我的几个伙伴决定去捉知了，我们先在自己的家里做捉知了的网子。这可要花费很多的功夫。我们搞了半天才弄完。终于可以去捉知了了，心里暗自高兴。想着：晚上有知了吃咯。这知了可是乡村里独一无二的美味了。我暗自想着。到了村里最老的一棵槐树下，听见树上的知了叫个不停。
知了，学名“蚱蝉”，几乎遍布大自然。从百花齐放的春天，到黄叶纷飞的秋天，知了就一直不知疲倦地用它那轻快而舒畅的调子，不用任何中、西乐器伴奏，为人们高唱一曲又一曲轻快的蝉歌，为大自然增添了浓厚的情意，堪称“夏天的歌手”了。
知了的歌调十分简单，两个字“知了、知了……”，大概意思的“今天天气好热”吧。知了，以它的奔放的歌喉、激情的腔调，还有不知疲惫的精神，留给人们深刻的印象。知了，这个乡村歌唱家，它的知名度远远超出了任何时代的歌星。几千年来，凡在乡下生活过的人，应该都听过知了的歌了，而任何歌星都是昙花一显罢了。
知了的蛋白含量在70％以上，脂肪约7％，可称其为当今食品中蛋白王。难怪小时候没有营养不良。知了被誉为大自然的歌唱家，一点也夸张，但也不是所有的知了会叫的，会鸣的仅仅是雄知了。雄知了的肚皮上的两个小圆片叫音盖，音盖内侧有一层透明的薄膜，这层膜叫瓣膜，其实是瓣膜发出的声音，人们用扩音器来扩大自己的声音，音盖就相当于蝉的扩音器一样来回收缩扩大声音，就会发出“知——了，知——了”的叫声，而雌知了的肚皮上没有音盖和瓣膜，所以雌知了不会叫，也叫“哑蝉”了。
我很喜欢知了。因为它带来的不仅仅是快乐而是一生都无法忘却的回忆！
