my hometown is very big. i am going to show you around my hometown.
　　first, here is my house. i live in a small house, we have a garden. my mother grows vegetables and flowers in the garden.
　　outside the garden the garden is a bus stop. it takes about twenty minutes to get to the nearest town. there are lots of buildings there. there is a shopping mall, a youth center and a cinema. there is also a park near the center of the town. my favorite place is the youth center. i often go there with my friends after school. there are lots of things to do there and i am always busy.
　　i like going into town on my bicycle. the town is near the sea. i sometimes go swimming in summer when it’s warm and sunny. there is not much pollution in the town because cars cannot go into the center of the town.
　　i have lots of friends here: i think it’s a wonderful place to live in. i hope you can come and visit it soon.

篇六：暑假英语日记

    today i went to a new class.here i met many new faces. at first, i felt a little afraid and uncomfortable. i was afraid that i wouldn’t be accepted here, that i would have problems getting on well with others, that i couldn’t catch up with others, and that i couldn’t understand new teachers and classmates.
    now i know i was wrong. just as the first class begin, as the first word the teacher said to me, as the first smile appeared on my face, i realized i had been a ‘real’member of this class.
    but there are things i’m not yet used to, such as i don’t know a lot of words, and i always do things slowly. my ears are not good, but i’ve tried to catch every word the teacher says, and i can mostly understand her, and i usually know what she wants us to do, though a few words are not known.
    i’ll try my best to follow my teacher and classmates and someday i can walk with them side by side, i believe.

matt gave us a class this afternoon, at the first part of the class, we saw a film. it was mainly about american football. after the film, we began t get to know the american football. it is similar to soccer, but it was much rougher. players might get more easily. in another word, it was a game full of danger, they played just like fighting. one of the players just broke his leg during the match, and he would never play american football, because of his leg. what a pity! matt told us that when he was in high school, he also take part in american football. he had broken his fingers for three times and his leg for once. then i was puzzled, it was a very dangerous game, why was is popular?

篇八：暑假英语日记

today is wednesday. it’s the third day of the summer camp. the weather isn’t very good. it reined all the time, and the wind blowed strongly. so i don’t feel happy. and the umbrella is too small for two persons my sister and me water always fell down into my shoes, so my feet got wet. it’s uncomfortable. i think it was really a bad day.
