篇二十八：爸爸的生日 My Father’s Birthday
Today is my father’s birthday, but he doesn’t celebrate it. It’s because he must work today. I say happy birthday to him in the morning. And I prepare a birthday card for him, which I draw it by myself. I wrote “Happy birthday to you, my dear daddy. Best wishes from your dear daughter. I love you.” When I gave it to him, he was so happy and smiled to me. At night, we have a delicious dinner which is my father’s favorite dishes cooked by my mother. She says it’s her birthday gift to my father. I think it’s enough because we all enjoy the dinner. My father says that my mother and I give him a happy and beloved birthday.
今天是我爸爸的生日，但是他没有特别地庆祝，因为他今天还要工作。早上，我对他说生日快乐，并把自己准备的生日贺卡给他。我在贺卡上写：“祝亲爱的爸爸生日快乐，您亲爱的女儿给您送上最美的祝福，我爱您。”我把贺卡送给他时，他开心地对我笑了。晚上，我们吃了一顿美味的晚餐，都是爸爸喜欢的菜色。妈妈说这是她为爸爸准备的生日礼物。我认为这足够了，因为我们都吃得很尽兴。爸爸说我和妈妈给了他一个快乐、情意浓浓的生日。
篇二十九：期末备考 Prepare for the Final Exam
The final exam is around the corner. All students are working hard to prepare for it. So am I. Doing well in final exam is important, because it reflects how much I learn in school. It’s a good way to test it. Besides, the New Year is coming. I could have a happy holiday and New Year if I got high scores. Now, I get up half an hour earlier than before. I need more time to review. At night, I finish my homework and then do some readings of Chinese and English. I must work harder to get high scores in the final exam.
期末考试马上就要到了，同学们都在努力学习备考，我也一样。考好期考很重要，因为它反映了我在学校学到了多少知识，这是一个很好的检验方法。此外，新年也要到了。如果我能考高分，我就能度过一个愉快的假期和新年。现在，我比以前早起半个小时，因为我需要更多的复习时间。晚上，完成作业之后我还会做一些语文和英语的阅读。我必须更加努力才能把期末考试考好。

Nowadays, almost everyone has a mobile phone. Some people even have two or three. Mobile phones changes our lives a lot. It’s so easy to get to others. All you have to do is making a call. You can talk to anyone no matter how far you are. Making calls and texting messages are the basic functions of mobile phones. But now, we can do a lot of things by mobile phones, such as listening to the music, watching movies, taking photos, reading books and so on. It’s so functional that it seems like a computer to some extent. Some people even deal with their business by mobile phones. It’s amazing.
